

Lucknow: After a long wait, the BJP in Uttar Pradesh is set to get its new state president. Central Minister Pankaj Chaudhary formally filed his nomination at the party headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath endorsing his candidacy. His appointment will be officially announced on Sunday. Meanwhile, the public is curious about Chaudhary’s wealth and assets.
A seasoned politician and prominent Kurmi community leader, Pankaj Chaudhary has represented the Maharajganj constituency in Lok Sabha seven times. Apart from his political career, he is also a successful entrepreneur, owning the renowned Ayurvedic oil company, Rahath Rooh, under Harbanshram Bhagwandas.
Over ₹41 Crore in Assets
According to his affidavit for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Chaudhary declared assets worth ₹41.90 crore. Of this, ₹36 crore is in immovable property, while over ₹5 crore constitutes movable assets. He also has liabilities totaling ₹3.82 crore.

Chaudhary holds ₹57,825 in cash, while his wife has ₹1.04 lakh. Their bank deposits across PNB, Federal Bank, SBI, and other banks exceed ₹98 lakh. Investments in company shares and bonds amount to ₹28.13 lakh, with over ₹26 lakh invested in post office schemes and NSS. Additionally, the couple owns gold and silver jewelry worth more than ₹50 lakh.
Impressive Immovable Property
Chaudhary’s immovable assets include non-agricultural land worth ₹9.39 crore, a commercial building valued over ₹5 crore, and a residential property in Gorakhpur worth ₹18.89 crore.
Liabilities
He has taken loans totaling ₹3.23 crore from various banks and owes over ₹47 lakh to different individuals.
Wealth Growth Over the Years
Chaudhary’s wealth has grown steadily: in 2019, his declared property was ₹37.18 crore, ₹19.18 crore in 2014, ₹4.37 crore in 2009, and ₹1.47 crore in 2004.
