Hidma’s Body Reaches Village Amid Heavy Security; Mother’s Heart-Wrenching Grief Captures Attention

Sukma: The bodies of most-wanted Naxal leader Madavi Hidma and his wife Raje were brought to their native village amid tight security, drawing a large gathering from nearby areas. Hidma, notorious as one of the region’s top Naxal leaders, had avoided visiting his village for years due to increasing security pressure. His mother, living in the village of Puvarti, could not approach the bodies herself, and security personnel facilitated the arrival.

Mother’s Grief: Tears, Clinging, and Heartbreaking Gestures

Upon arrival, Hidma’s mother was seen wailing uncontrollably, clutching the bodies and expressing her grief vocally. The emotional display intensified as she kissed her daughter-in-law Raje, whom she hadn’t seen in years, and repeatedly caressed and observed the deceased closely. In a particularly poignant moment, she sat by Hidma’s body and rested her head on his feet, unable to contain her anguish. The display left onlookers in tears.

Village Under Heavy Security

The village witnessed unprecedented security arrangements, with a strong police presence stationed at all points. Once a zone out of police reach, the area surrounding the village is now under tight surveillance. Roads leading to the village were cleared, and security forces ensured that no untoward incidents occurred, marking the near-elimination of Naxal influence in the region.
