Objective of the Scheme
The scheme aims to provide government and PSU employees with housing in the same area, allowing them to live close to colleagues and neighbors. According to an official, while DDA has previously offered discounted flats to government employees, this is the first time certain pockets are reserved exclusively for them.
Steps to Boost Sales
To facilitate sales in Narela, DDA is implementing several measures:
- Expanding DTC bus routes
- Constructing Urban Extension Road-II
- Allowing flat merging for larger units
- Offering allotment on a first-come, first-served basis
Additionally, land has been allocated for police infrastructure, a hospital, a DTC terminal, and an education hub to enhance the locality’s facilities.
